Success Stories: The Dianne Lang Foundation, Middleburg, South Africa

Working in Middleburg, South Africa, the Dianne Lang Foundation offers a safe and supportive environment for neglected and orphaned children affected by HIV and AIDS. With our help, Dianne and her team continue to offer them a fresh start.

Success Stories: The Dianne Lang FoundationThe Dianne Lang care home in the economically-deprived township of Middleburg, offers invaluable care, support and shelter for up to as many as 40 neglected children. Many of the children are affected by HIV and AIDS and without the care home would face an uncertain future on the streets. The project, though invaluable to the local community, receives no government funding and faces a constant struggle to fund the up-keep of the home and its running costs. Thanks to financial assistance from The Grace Foundation, Dianne has been able to continue the good work, offer more of Middleburg’s street children a second chance and even hand out toys and clothes at Christmas.

“Without The Grace Foundation UK, there would have been many months when we would not have had the food to feed our children.  Without The Grace Foundation UK, there would not have been the motivation to carry on when things got too tough.  Fourteen children would have been put on the street by the authorities.  The Dianne Lang Foundation is stronger because of the love, care, support and concern of The Grace Foundation.”
